Hyde - 33
Morse High School  - 48

Hyde faced local Morse High School in a tough game on Thursday, 1/28.  From the opening tip-off, the game went back and forth until Morse pulled away in the fourth quarter.  Just before the half, Morse went on a run and went up by eight points.  Hyde played their best basketball in the third quarter and outscored Morse 15-7.  With their intense defensive pressure and timely buckets by Wesley Freston ’11, Hyde found themselves up by one heading into the final quarter.  However, Hyde could not maintain their momentum and let the game slip away in the final five minutes.  Wes Freston ’11 and Trevor Maglore ‘11 finished with 10 points and Justin Castor ‘12 was clutch at the free-throw line. Kudos also goes to Matan Peltier ‘11 for his hustle throughout the game.  Hyde will travel to Old Orchard tomorrow for a 5:30 game.
