After having only one practice between their first and second games of the season, the young women of the JV basketball program got back into action and tasted the sweet nectar of victory. Finding themselves down 9-4 at halftime, the squad made a few pivotal defensive adjustments holding the Lumberjacks to just 5 points in the second half. After going scoreless in the 3rd quarter, the Lady Ballers exploded for 10 points in the 4th quarter, including a late bucket by Liberty Alfredsen ‘12 to seal the victory.
The JV Ballers worked hard all game and fought valiantly for their first victory of the season.
