On a snowy Wednesday, the Lady Phoenix traveled to Kent’s Hill for a hard fought match. The Phoenix were feeling pretty confident as they knew what had to be done in order to pull off a win. Hyde came out strongly applying full court pressure and went on a 12-4 run in the first quarter. By half-time the game was tied at 17. The momentum slowly shifted and Kent’s Hill took advantage by going on a 15-3 run. Sage Harris contributed a strong offensive effort and finished with 14 points, and Alyssa Thomas was a strong presence on the boards providing 12 points for the Phoenix. Hyde will defend their home court on Friday night when they face Waynflete.
