Hyde  - 1
Hebron  - 3

The Boy’s Varsity Soccer season came to an end on Wednesday with a 1-3 loss to Hebron in the semifinals of the MAISAD tournament.  The lads played much better on Wednesday than on Saturday when they lost to Hebron 6-1.  Hyde scored  fifteen minutes into the match when Juno Ra ‘11 finished a Mac Adam’s ‘11 cross.  Hebron quickly countered by scoring twice to take the lead just before halftime.  The second half saw the Phoenix play some quality soccer.  Ryan Connolly ‘11 was effective in controlling the midfield and Nic Figueroa‘ 10 was solid for us all game filling in at the sweeper position.   With under ten minutes to play, Hyde pushed numbers forward in hopes to tie the game.  However, Hebron stripped the ball at midfield and scored on a counterattack to make the final 3-1.  Standouts were Dexter Jenks ‘10 and Ryan Connolly for their hustle and composure throughout the game.
