Hyde - 1
Kents Hill - 2

Hyde’s six game winning streak came to an unfortunate end at home against Kents Hill.  The first half was played hard by both teams and remained scoreless at the half.  The first goal came with 29:11 minutes left to play in the second half when Cece Jackson ‘10 buried the ball on a cross in the goal box.  Unfortunately the team watched as Kents Hill began to rally and swing the momentum.  Mid-fielder Brittany Harris ‘10 and stopper Scout Gauld ‘10 turned in great efforts to dismantle their attacks.  Kents Hill charged on and finally reached the net on a shot from wide in the penalty box.  With 10:16 minutes left to play, both teams worked hard to find the net.  Hyde had several chances to score on both corner kicks and carries to goal but was unable to finish.  With 25 seconds left to play Kents Hill drew a direct kick at the top of the box and scored on a low shot just past the wall.  Hyde plays its last regular season game on Saturday against Gould Academy.
